OK Stars like NBA All Stars, one more good example from Spain

For the third time OK STARS takes place in Spain. In 28th January, Blanes will be the Spanish Capital of Roller Hockey, with a full day of practice. 
For the unknowns about this competition, it's comparable to NBA All Stars. The Event is divided in different performances as:

• Young Championship
  
• Women's OK STARS 
• Skills Contest
•  Men's OK STARS (Match of Stars)

During the morning, the young championship will promote roller hockey between the Spanish young players,t he best way to prepare the future of roller hockey.
After the lunch comes the Women's OK STARS, showing that Roller Hockey can't survive without women's. Concerning the selection of women players and coaches to be prsent in Blanes, will be chosen by capitans and coaches of the teams of each conference (more details on the rules of tournament).

The main part of OK Stars will come after with some of the best players in the World. They will dispute first some Skills Contest splitted in 3 different categories:

1. Fastest Player (speed race between players)
2. Precision (shoot to specific parts of goal)
3. Best Goalkeeper (shoot from different sides of the rink by 8 players)

The winner of each category will win 500€!

To conclude the amazing day there will be the Match of Stars between the players of two conferences (again see all the rules of tournament).
One of the most interesting points of the Men's tournament is the selection of each player. Thus, all Roller Hockey Fans have the opportunity to choose their favorite players to play in Blanes. 

The voting will be until 18th January 2012 on the website of Spanish Federation.

Who must manage Roller Hockey???

During the World Cup in San Juan it was possible to see that some Newspapers and some people still doesn't know who is behind our Sport Federations. To help Rolling Together divulge the main persons  that work or "must work" to develop our Sport.

First we must know that the main Federation is FIRS, responsible to manage all Roller Sports, including Roller Hockey. FIRS has a president and President of Continental Confederation. Also FIRS has a president to each Roller Sports Committee. You can see a diagram and also each person next:

15th FIRS B World Cup held by Uruguay

During the World Cup disputed in San Juan, was decided the host country of next B World Cup to happen next year. Once again after 2002 and 2006, Uruguay will receive this competition, and the place will be the Palacio Peñarol in Montevideo.
The date of the competition will be from 22nd until 29th of September. 

The number of national teams to participate is not confirmed as always, but everybody hopes to see more than in Dornbirn, last 2010, 11.
Countries like:

1. Netherlands, South Africa, England (from A World Cup) 
2. Uruguay (host country)
3. India, Japan, Austria, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Macao (had participated in Dornbirn)
4. Pakistan, Ecuador, Ireland, Taiwan, Andorra, Belgium, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada (Who knows?!)

First of all the construction of a deadline/schedule to all this national teams is an important step to begin the preparation. Also all Roller Hockey fans would like to see an excellent organization, that will use all the skills available in XXI century to do the best B World Cup ever.

AL-Dakhlyea Sporting Club Champion for the 4th Consecutive Time

On the weekend of 11th and 12th of June, AL-Dakhlyea Sporting Club confirmed it 4th Egypt Championship. After a different year, where was difficult to have news of Egypt sometimes, due to the revolution, the end of one more League appears as an excellent news.
Soon we hope to give more information about the situation of Egyptian Hockey.
Seems that the next edition of the League will have a lot of interesting updates.

Good Hope to African Roller Hockey

Seems that CIRH is doing some efforts to support Roller Hockey.

During the Nations Cup in Montreux, Switzerland were approved the foundation of  CIRH Sub Committee – “Development of Africa”. The document of CIRH (press here to see) says this:

Thanks Egypt for this lesson, about Democracy

Historic Day in Egypt, a millenarian country, with such a big story.
Although of the relation of this blog just with Egyptian Roller Hockey, we could not forget, this amazing day. All the World is looking to the Egypt people, and what together the humans can do without using weapons.
Such an important message to a World that just think in superficial things nowadays, forgetting their own rights and their values.
All the countries and politicians should look to this as an example, always we have a word to say, and we should not give up never, even when we are fighting against powerful people surrounded by Big Bosses and money without end.

Our blog hopes that this can be a new Era to Egypt, and also to the Islamic World.

Also we should not forget the real  World of the Roller Hockey. All of us know that it is crossing a lot of problems, and seems that nobody wants to solve it. Is time to act and to change.
Roller Hockey needs a BIG revolution, not just in Egypt, but in all World!!

After Mundook and Rink Hockey News now is the famous blog of Roller Hockey, Patinslover to report about us.
Seems that for the first time the world is giving more attention to our Roller Hockey, since the begging of this blog, so means that the work is being done, in the right way.

Roller Hockey Rankings Updated

One more time our friend Fernando Castro updated is fantastic work with the Roller Hockey Rankings.
According to clubs the best team of the world is Benfica (Portugal) with 2.554 while in Egypt, our best team is: AL-Dakhlyea in the 405th position with 1.544 points, followed by Nasr city in the 577th  with 1.302 points, El-Zamalek in 624th with 1.207 points, Al Maadi in 654th with 1.128 points, Al Masry in 694th with 997 points, Al Zohour in 697th with 981 points and finally Damnhour in 702th with 964 points.

Our National time is the 23th in the World,with 1.631 points, while Spain is the best Nation of the World with 2.799 points.

Egypt young teams isn't yet in the Ranking, but we hope to see it in next World Cup in Barcelos, Portugal. to be in the next Ranking.

Mistake with our Classification Table

We know that everybody fails, and that happened in our blog. We didn´t remember that the points in Egypt League doesn't work as in the other countries. In Egypt League a Victory are 3 points, a Draw are 2 points, and a lose is 1 point.
