On the weekend of 11th and 12th of June, AL-Dakhlyea Sporting Club confirmed it 4th Egypt Championship. After a different year, where was difficult to have news of Egypt sometimes, due to the revolution, the end of one more League appears as an excellent news.
Soon we hope to give more information about the situation of Egyptian Hockey.
Seems that the next edition of the League will have a lot of interesting updates.

Patinslover report about Egypt Blog

After Mundook and Rink Hockey News now is the famous blog of Roller Hockey, Patinslover to report about us.
Seems that for the first time the world is giving more attention to our Roller Hockey, since the begging of this blog, so means that the work is being done, in the right way.
Our friend Pedro Antunes report about the update of the rankings and the position of our teams on the ranking. Also he left a message saying that all our players would like to improve their quality going to some tournaments in Europe, so if somebody knows about it to send a message.

Roller Hockey Rankings Updated

One more time our friend Fernando Castro updated is fantastic work with the Roller Hockey Rankings.
According to clubs the best team of the world is Benfica (Portugal) with 2.554 while in Egypt, our best team is: AL-Dakhlyea in the 405th position with 1.544 points, followed by Nasr city in the 577th  with 1.302 points, El-Zamalek in 624th with 1.207 points, Al Maadi in 654th with 1.128 points, Al Masry in 694th with 997 points, Al Zohour in 697th with 981 points and finally Damnhour in 702th with 964 points.

Our National time is the 23th in the World,with 1.631 points, while Spain is the best Nation of the World with 2.799 points.

Egypt young teams isn't yet in the Ranking, but we hope to see it in next World Cup in Barcelos, Portugal. to be in the next Ranking.

4rd jorney of Egyptian Hockey League

The Egyptian Championship don't stop and tomorrow there are more two games: El Maadi vs. Nasr and Zamalek vs. Damanhour.

On Friday will be the exciting Dakhlyea against Al-Masry, probably the best two teams of the championship at this moment. Should be good if we will have videos and photos of this matches, so I hope that the Egyptians could help us.

We wish that one day this important matches can be transmited in internet or in TV.

For the ones that are interested for the results of international roller hockey, will start this weekend in the biggest Roller Hockey website, CumHoquei a weekly betting game, Liga OK Virtual.
In the end that ones that will have more points will win a prize, like mobilphones.
The participation is free and you just need to register in the Cum chat, sending an email to penuca@uniaomicaelense.com with your name,club,reasons to your participation,user name and password.
After the registration you choose one of the six matches presents in the betting of the week, and write the final result in the Chat.
You should play all the weeks.

The match between Maadi and Damanhour was disputed this Wednesday, with the final result 5 2. With this victory Maadi ascend to the top of the classification with the same points of Nasr City, proving that it team is really good and prepare to disput with Al-Dakhlyea and Nasr City, the title.

Egyptian Roller Hockey League 2010/11 Season

After Dornbirn, Roller Hockey didn't stop in Egypt and start two weeks ago.
After a Championship won by Al-Dakhlyea a new season is starting, and all the others teams want to conquered the Big Trophy in Egypt.
We expect that this season will be the best ever, and might show new players in our country that could help Egypt in next B-World cup (or Qualifying Tournament, we don't know yet).


The teams for the 5th edition of our League will be:

• Al-Dakhlyea 
• Al-Zohour 
• Nasr city 
• Damnhour
• El maadi
• Al Masry
• Al Zamalek 

We will try to put more information about the teams soon!

Egypt 7th classified in Dornbirn

And our participation in the 14th B-WC finished.
After a week in Austria we got the 7th place (in South Africa two years ago we got the 8th place) .

Final Classification:

We wish that in the next two years we can improve our level to get one of the three first places in next B World Cup.
Should be good if the Tournament could be realized in our country, and if the Egyptian's media start to interest about this Wonderful Sport.

Almost sure that Austria will be in our way in semi-finals

After a good beginning with 2 victories and 1 loss, our team lost the two following games:

Egypt 1:10 USA
Macau 4:2 Egypt

So our classification will be the 4th place in group B, and consequently we will fight for an historical presence in the semi-finals with the host national team, Austria.
Will be a hard match, for one hand Austria win all the matches until now in group A, and they are played at home.

2 Victories and 1 Losse to start

And starts the B World Cup of Roller Hockey in Dornbirn.
After an amazing opening ceremony (video available in the website http://www.eventarena.tv/pages/sportarena/sommer/rollhockey-b-wm/rollhockey-wm-fan-tv.php ), the Championship is finally in move.

Our Egyptian team start the best form their participation in B-WC that started last Saturday in Dornbirn, defeating the Indian team by 17 : 1!!!
On Sunday the things didn't go so well and we lose with the South Africa team by 8-2.

Today we played against Japan and we win again, by 4-2, that is a really good result that open way to our qualification, although we have yet two important matches with two difficult countries, USA and Macau, that we need to win.

So next matches will be:
Tuesday 12:00 (+1GMT) Egypt-USA
Wednesday 10:30 (+1GMT) Egypt-Macau

Bad Luck for AL-Dakhlyea

Unfortunately our team lost it opportunity to be in the semifinals of Africa Cup today.

The reason was the goal average against Estrela Vermelha.

The result with Juventude de Viana, was to bad, 2-13 (justify by the big players that this team has, from Portugal).

Now the next step is conquer the 5th place, because AL-Dakhlyea prove that have value to be in other places.

We hope in the next year the things gone be a "little" differents.

The final classification is:

in the group B although the unknown of the final results, the two first classified are Académica de Luanda and Maxaquene. So the semifinals will be:

AL-Dakhlyea draw with Estrela Vermelha

Al Dahklyea draw 4-4  with Red Star Maputo,this afternoon. On the last minute of the game, the Red Star equalised the game with an irregular goal that affected the Egyptians players, because they were near to win another game;CONGRATULATIONS AL DAHKLYEA!! Now is important that on the final game of the group,the goal-average is better than the Red Star and try to give the Angolans a difficult game.

AL-Dakhlyea WIN your it first match in Africa Cup

This can be the beginning of a fantastic challenging of Egypt Roller Hockey History.
This afternoon at 18:00 (South Africa Hour), our unique Egypt team, in this III Africa Cup, start with the better result, a BIG VICTORY, 4-3, against the South African team, União de Joanesburgo.

In the other match the local ACP Pretoria win the Invitation Club (substitute our Al-Zohour), by 8-2.
